Once we have the plans and permits in place, the actual main floor construction process should take around 12 weeks.

Around $130,000 – $160,000 would be a good budget to start with for your main floor renovation.  This budget allows you to make some basic changes and overall, get a renovation product that you are really excited about. You bet. Planning and design are the most critical phases of a successful main floor renovation.  We have great relationships with designers and drafting teams to help you start the process, and we’ll work with you to understand your renovation desires, goals and priorities.

Coleridge Construction will take care of all aspects of permit acquisition for your renovation project. If walls are being changed, or other major changes in the home are needed, you will need to apply for a municipal city permit.  We help walk you through the process, submit the permit for you, and take care of everything from start to finish.

We work hard to have great communication and openness with our clients.  If and when issues arise, we deal with them with honesty and transparency.  Our end goal is to always give our clients a successful renovation project and we work hard to build that desire into our everyday approach and attitude as a team.  We’ll always make sure you are aware of any budget change orders, or product delays, and we’ll work along with you to tackle any issues that may present themselves during your project.

This really depends on you as a person.  When your whole main floor is being renovated it is impossible to live in the space while under construction.  Some homeowners prefer to live in their basements if there is space, others prefer to move out and live with family for the duration of the project.  Overall, there can be a lot of stress while renovating and you will need to decide which path forward is less stressful for you and your family.

At Coleridge Construction we offer a 24-month warranty on all exterior cladding, caulking, windows and doors, and a 12-month warranty for all electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation and Interior finishes.
