This East Abbotsford main floor renovation was driven by a growing family’s need for more space. With young grandchildren and a love for entertaining, the homeowners wanted a kitchen and dining area that could support everyday life while comfortably hosting extended family celebrations. Their existing layout felt too small and disconnected, so the solution was to expand the footprint and reimagine the flow of the home.

This main floor renovation transformed a once standard living space into the heart of the home. By vaulting the ceiling in the former living room, we created an airy, light-filled dining area designed for connection and celebration. Custom hardwood floors and warm wood accents ground the space in timeless farmhouse charm.

The kitchen was extended to make room for a generous island—perfect for casual seating, added storage, and everyday gathering. This expanded layout reimagines the main floor as a true hub of life—a place where family and friends will come together for meals, milestones, and memories for years to come.
